Very pleasantly surprised by this Belgian restaurant. Really great local staff. Small intimate venue. Great small dishes. We had the steak as well as the beef stew. We also had the fried smelt which was an amazing treat! Great selection of beers. Very old location. Definitely a great experience to try traditional Belgian food. They also have blood sausage on the menu.

This is a very small and cosy hidden gem! I went all in Belgian. I started with mussels. They were fresh and cooked properly. I went with Flemish Beef stew. It came with a side of salad and mashed potatoes (You can order it with Belgian fries too). The salad dressing was mustard-based, and very well balanced. The Beef stew was excellent. I don’t have more words to describe it! The mashed potatoes too. The service is extremely friendly. In fact, there two young servers handling everybody. They are doing an outstanding job! The restaurant itself is very small and the ambiance is exquisite.

We lucked out and got a table because a family was wrapping up when we arrived. They don't take reservations so you have to chance it and just show up. For an appetizer we ordered these like fried black mozzarella balls (sorry don't remember the name) but they were cold on the inside (like they didn't get cooked all the way). In their defense, we didn't say anything. However, I cannot speak highly enough about our main courses. I got lamb, which was cooked to perfection and had a sauce that was to die for. I also loved the stoemp. My husband got a beef stew and fries that he loved as well! The

I wanted to experience Belgian cuisine and beer. So my friend recommended this restaurant to me. There were many customers inside when I arrived at last Saturday, and it was constantly crowded, but the staff led me into the store alone, and I sat at a table for 4 by the window. The meat stew was really soft and the sauce was excellent. I drank 3 kinds of beer, and I felt that the quality of Belgian beer was excellent. I thought sorry to be at the table for 4 alone so I tried to finish my meal quickly, but I couldn't. This is because all the staff were kind, wonderful, and had the best food. I
