I was in Brussels for a week in June and came here to eat twice! This place is not to be confused with the Romanian spot with the same name two doors down. I asked and they are different owners. I ate here during the heatwave...and man was it hot! There was no AC inside the restaurant, so I ate outside. The first time I came, I ate alone. I was seated immediately and ordered a sparkling water and the stew and potatoes. They brought out a tomato and goat cheese salad and bread before my meal (on the house). The salad was delectable! Great, authentic Romanian food with good selection of soups, salads and main dishes. Service was very friendly and fast. Sanitary facilities very clean. Inside is quite tiny, outside a few more tables, but alley is not nice and quiet dirty with beggars crossing frequently to ask for money.

Wanted to try something different and came upon this wonderful Romanian restaurant. We did make a reservation because the first night it was full, but you could’ve walked in. Our dishes were fabulous and the portions were huge. We were brought warm bread with cheese, tomatoes, and onions in a bowl. Lovely flavors. Also, we had a bruschetta type appetizer. Would highly recommend this place. Even the water was from Romania! The waitress was so sweet!
