Kristel Van Loock★★★★★Traditional Moroccan restaurant with lovely interior, warm & cozy atmosphere and a beautiful terrace located beneath the Onze-Lieve-Vrouwenkerk in the city centre of Mechelen. First we had a few tapas, followed by the tajines which were truly delicious with authentic flavors and we ended the evening of course with the Moroccan mint tea and yummy cookies. Great food for a reasonable price and very friendly staff!
Margriet Maart★★★★★Such a beautiful restaurant that we've always admired when walking past. My husband had the couscous, and I had the tajine, and both were spectacular. We also had a cucumber salad from the tapas menu, which was a nice refresher between the heavier fare. Definitely worth the price, and with generous portions. I had plenty to eat, and leftovers for lunch the following day. The serving staff were incredibly accomodating and friendly. My Dutch isn't always the best, but they took it in stride. Rushil Shetty★★★★★Highly recommended Berber cuisine restaurant! We ordered calamares a la planca, lamb and vegetables couscous, and Rabbit and plums Tajine. It was probably some of the best dishes I've ever had. There's a huge choice of tapas too which we unfortunately couldn't try. The portions are quite huge. Prices are moderate and staff are very friendly. I will definitely be going back again for more!
Ery★★★There were some good tapas we ordered but most average. The gambas in particular was a disappointment. From the way it taste, it's either not fresh or cooked badly. Ordered the chocolate cake but it was really dry. I saw most people orders the main dishes rather than tapas, maybe that's what's good here. I'll perhaps give this place a go again to try the mains.
