Had Mother’s Day brunch at Lazy Tulip Cafe and honestly… this place understood the assignment. The whole experience felt like someone took a cozy neighbourhood café, sprinkled edible flowers on it, and whispered “let’s make moms happy today.” The special menu was surprisingly thoughtful for a set brunch. The roasted beet carpaccio looked way fancier than something I’d normally order, but it absolutely slapped. Sweet beets, citrus, pistachios, balsamic… like a tiny farmers market having a black tie event on a plate. The huevos rancheros were hearty and hit the spot, the eggs bennies disappear

Hankering for a great breakfast? Or something out of the ordinary for lunch? Can I suggest “The Lazy Tulip”? Tucked into the corner of the Atrium Professional Centre at St Vincent and Cundles, there’s ample free parking, and a menu that’s sure to delight you. Today, an appointment nearby brought us here over the lunch hour. We chose the Harvest Melt Sandwich on fresh whole wheat focaccia and the Keto Chicken Salad. The soup of the day was a roasted red pepper tomato, which I chose as a side (instead of salad greens) for the sandwich. Every bite was delicious. And the portions were generous! Bu
