We went to Oxbow for Mother’s Day afternoon tea. Overall, the food was just okay, nothing really stood out in terms of the flavour profile. I think their food is not very sophisticated, quite simple flavours, and just tastes like things you can get at a coffee shop. I was surprised to see the tower be overloaded with food, it would have been much better experience if the savoury was served separate to the sweets. For a while (around 30 mins), no servers were around for us to get the bill so that wasn’t that great either. It was a good experience but I likely won’t go back.

The service was impeccable, with staff patiently explaining the menu and attentively listening to customer preferences. The Oxbow oysters were absolutely stunning as soon as they arrived—perfectly chilled, plump, and tender with a springy texture. One bite and their fresh sweetness rushed straight to the senses! Too bad Google reviews can only go up to 5 stars because I would rate this restaurant 10 stars if I could. Our experience here went far beyond our expectations!! The staff provided the best service despite a busy Saturday night. The host was very charming and sweet, her smile could light up the whole room.
