I found my favourite cupcake store today! I tried 6 cupcakes: Red Velvet, Chocolate Peanut Butter, Baileys Irish Cream Cheesecake, Black Forest, Salted Caramel, Knotty Pine Buttered Almond + 2 other desserts: cookie dough cheesecake bar and napoleon custard square. I think I’m quite picky with my cupcakes but I liked all of them! The cake was very soft and moist but did not fall apart when I wanted to break off the bottom of a non-filled cupcake to make a cupcake sandwich. The soft buttercream icing was the perfect (in my opinion) texture and consistency and just the right amount of sweetness

Tiny Cakes is a locally owned bakery which specializes in cupcakes in the heart of downtown Cambridge. The cupcakes were moist and expertly made, I particularly enjoyed the black forest cupcake which has a soft whipped cream. They had a good selection of different flavours, everything we tried was delicious.

Update: Another outstanding order from Tiny Cakes! Ordered some cupcakes ahead for a special occasion. Ordering on line is easy, and loved that I got an email confirmation of my order next business day, then a reminder the day of pick up, so it made a busy day a little easier. You can pay at the time of your online order or in store upon pick up. Went with Cambridge’s famed buttered almond cupcakes. They were very good. If you’re not familiar with this beloved recipe from the historic Knotty Pine Restaurant, you should try one. Lots of other delicious flavours too.

Stopped in today for a few cupcakes as a Valentine’s Day treat. We got 4 cupcakes: double chocolate, vanilla, salted caramel (my fave) and chocolate peanut butter (second fave). The person who served us reminded us to enjoy the cupcakes at room temperature - which we did and YUM. They were all so moist and delicious. I haven’t been here in years but I’m so glad we stopped in again. Will definitely be back!
