StoneplacesLGC★★★★★Sushi Eki on Hazeldean is easily the best takeout sushi in Kanata. The fish quality is consistently superior to the nearby AYCE spots. I highly recommend the Red Dragon Roll and the Salmon Poké Bow the portions are generous and the ingredients are always fresh. The service is quick and the staff is incredibly friendly; they often include a small extra treat with larger orders. It’s a small storefront, so it's perfect for a grab-and-go dinner. If you’re looking for authentic flavor and great value near the Hazeldean Mall area, this is the spot!
P C★★★★Good price for take-out sushi. Quality of the ingredients are fresh. Really friendly non- service service. They do check on you and ask how everything is tasting when they walk past to clean up other tables but you also just go and refill your water/ tea at the counter. The rice to fish proportion is a bit off and the rice is squeezed to the imprint of a fist for the nigiris but if you craving sushi it’s good enough. No atmosphere. It’s like a cafeteria under fluorescent lighting. I don’t love this place enough to call it my “go-to” spot but I don’t dislike it either. I did appreciate them t
Emilie Moreau★★★★★Best sushi I've had in a while. It was melt-in-your mouth and drool good. Exceptionally fresh 🦈🍣🤤🤍 It was a really busy time when we went so the wait was unbearably long, so I highly recommend ordering pick up or going during non peek hours (not a Friday night). The staff were lovely and apologized for the delay. I am still giving them 5 stars because it was so delicious. It isn't very big, just a few small tables - but there was high traffic for order pick-ups. I will order here again but for pick up 😊
Dave C★★★This review is specific to the poke bowls, of which I am a huge fan, in general. I’ve had their sushi, and it’s very good. Unfortunately, this didn’t translate into the poke bowl. The ingredients were very fresh, and there was enough of them, each, individually, but the bowl overall was small, and with a limited selection. I’d suggest they get a bigger bowl so they can serve more rice, and add edamame to the mix, and you’re going from a 6 to an 8-9, without even trying.
