It had been a few years since I’d been to Lucky Belly but it won’t be a few years before I go back. I loved the Thai taco and the Caribbean brisket slider plus the French fries and chipotle sauce were yum yum! My grandpa also enjoyed his shrimp and fish tacos! I've had food here twice - food was pretty good both times. Wouldn't say incredible, but pretty good! We walked in to order takeout and the vibe was very odd. The servers were arguing with eachother (literally, snarky arguing) in front of us, and their overall demeaner was unfriendly. Nobody seemed like they wanted to be there. When we walked in, the one girl (young, dark hair) immediately expected us to know what we wanted to order, visibly lost patience and walked away before we looked at the menu. I had my first visit to this restaurant today. I decided to come with my husband because I saw this place was highly recommended on Reddit. The young girls working FOH were very sweet, and I enjoyed their service! The food was fine. My husband and I shared the Two Sandwich Combo, and it was plenty of food for the both of us. We spent $30 after tip. Can't beat that! However, the cleanliness of this place really just ruined it for me. We sat in a corner booth and the surroundings were just absolutely filthy. Absolutely excellent first experience here. We ordered two beet boxes. All of the ingredients were fresh and the price was more than fair for the quality. We really appreciated the amount of options for customizing. I added chicken to mine and it was well seasons and cooked perfectly. Thank you!
