What a wonderful find! We visited Guelph from Toronto and were looking for interesting vegetarian options. We found plenty to choose from here and so tasty! The restaurant is cute and comfy and located on street level in a the storefront as part of the River Mill condos. Our server Ben was personable, intelligent and inquisitive. We so enjoyed chatting with him. Parking is a bit of challenge but please persevere! There is free parking around the corner on Surrey and in the neighbourhood. As a vegan, I have been used to rather bland restaurant meals but Retour Bistro gave me the most exquisite Kafta meal that was so flavourful that I had to eat every single bite. I would recommend this restaurant highly to anyone who is vegan or not. Both meat and vegan dishes are available. The service was very personable that they worked very hard to please all. The atmosphere is a casual elegance.
