I've been here a few times now for breakfast. Service is always great. However, food portions and cost is a bit wild. Coffee, Eggs Benedict with 2 thin peameal, 2 eggs and a small portion of home fries shouldn't cost me $30+ with a modest tip. Angels Diner (new name now), Eggcetera and the Symposium are far better for not only portions but cost as well. I may also add, Uptown's prices while being a stones throw from a seniors center is pretty sad. Won't be returning. Staff were always great.

First time dining here and it was delightful. The restaurant is super cute and our server Gemma was amazing. Food came fast, tasty, and fresh! The portions are not big but I left very satisfied. Would recommend!

We had a wonderful breakfast at Uptown Grill in Guelph after a long weekend of camping nearby. Our server, Gemma, was so sweet and attentive, which made the experience even better. The food was delicious, served quickly, and the kids loved it too! Definitely a must-try spot for breakfast, and we’ll be sure to come back the next time we’re in the area.

Overall, it's a very nice breakfast spot, good service, nice atmosphere. but the food is pretty basic. I don't know how often I would come back here, as there are other breakfast spots with more exciting food. Overall it's about a 3.5. I'm sure the seniors in the area love this place more than I do.
