Based on the reviews, we decided to celebrate our teenage son’s birthday at Guilford Sushi House, and it was absolutely perfect. We made a reservation ahead of time and were delighted when we arrived to be escorted to a private room with a traditional Japanese-style table. Wanted to try their nigiri, so I had the salmon, tuna, saba, toro, unagi, and octopus. Also tried their appetizer tempura, which came with shrimp, yam, and pumpkin. Overall, it was pretty good. The fish tasted fresh, clean and with a little sweetness. The rice could be improved a bit though, mine may have been slightly undercooked. Service was great and the overall experience was enjoyable.

Had a lovely experience at Guildford Sushi House! The food was excellent; we tried several appetizers along with a variety of sushi rolls, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The menu has a huge assortment of options, so there’s something for everyone. The ambience is cozy and welcoming, making it a great spot for a relaxed meal.
