We ended up at Au Liban on a rainy day when most nearby restaurants were full. The restaurant looked promising from the outside, had strong reviews, and the interior is modern and inviting. The food was decent, but it didn’t quite live up to the reviews. The kefta kebab was the highlight of the meal, served with very good rice, though it lacked some of the spice and depth of flavor we expected. The hummus was disappointing—heavy and acidic rather than fresh and creamy. The baba ghanoush was okay, the muhammara was quite good, and the pita bread was on the dry side. Humus is really delicious here! I love the pita bread as well🥰 Mains were good but were unfortunately not as great as expected, as well the service was not the best as it was someones birthday at the table, which was noted in the reservation, and nothing was done or said about that, which was a bit disappointing. Other than that the hummus is really good and the restaurant has a very elegant ambiance👍

The kefta kebab was good, but not amazing; I’ve had better in Halifax. The chicken

The service was absolutely top-notch, and food quality was good as well. It wasn’t overly greasy. However, the portions were quite small, so if you’re dining with two or more people, I’d recommend ordering a few extra dishes.
