I came in to get the roasted tomato soup. It was nice and thick. The cheesy bread toast that comes on the side was amazing with the soup. The ambience was dim and cozy. It's nice music. It was a perfect light supper I could ask for. Heidi was great to talk to and just made it better.

Wow, what a meal. Started with bread & butter and a cheese plate. Yeah not your standard, the balsamic glaze out of this world, fresh Strawberries tasted like I just picked them. Pickles and Cheese didnt stay on the plate long. The claim chowder is a meal in itself so pace yourself. Steak, Cornish Hen and Pork Chop all outstanding and we are a very picky family. The atmosphere was inviting, the wine exceptional, service fantastic.

Had to stay the night in Halifax. Did my typical google search for ‘the best ——‘ in the city I am currently visiting. Being Halifax, I had to indulge in some seafood. Well the Seafood chowder did not disappoint. I could have used a knife as the pieces of fish were big enough, buy so tender- my spoon did the trick. The side if sour dough bread had a lovely smokey flavour too. Service at the bar was great, Yorke was most attentive. I’ll be back!
