Very disappointed with the service at Doner Dude today around 9:15 PM on May 28, 2026. The food was bad, and the staff behaviour was completely unacceptable. One brown Indian staff member told me to “shut up,” which is extremely rude and disrespectful to a customer. The owner should seriously review the CCTV cameras and take immediate action. No customer deserves to be treated like this. Very poor service experience.

Absolutely loved the falafel platter at Donair Dude - Nanaimo! The falafels were perfectly crispy outside and soft, flavourful inside. Every item on the platter tasted fresh — from the creamy hummus and garlic sauce to the salad. Portion size was generous and filling, especially for the price. The staff were friendly, service was quick, and the restaurant was super clean. One of the best Middle Eastern meals I’ve had in Nanaimo. Highly recommend for anyone who loves authentic, fresh, and satisfying food!

EVERY BITE IS A PERFECT BITE. grabbed a large Beef Donair Pita Wrap and added Feta cheese. This was handed to me and it was easily twice the weight of the thought it would be. I went into my truck to eat and I had stopped my Togo and couldn't take both my hands off of this pita to drive and just admired this mighty Donair Pita for a proper lunch break. So many other offerings here but I don't think I will deviate from this first impression. WoW.

I used an app called too good to Go and got these meals for 5 each. Talk about a fun way to try a new place, and become hooked immediately. The flavors were very abundant. Great quality. I'll be back. Very soon. The interior is so clean, the staff were polite and looked hard at work.
