Went here today to pick up some beans and an iced espresso. They served me the iced espresso in a super hot cup with two tiny ice cubes that melted instantly. When I asked for a cup that wasn't hot they acted like they had no idea what I was talking about. I asked for the beans to be ground for a french press. Got home and realized they were super fine like an espresso grind. I went back and they insisted that they could not grind them coarser. The woman behind the counter showed me the dile on the grinder and said she could only turn it up a couple more notches. I've worked in several cafes a

Awesome little Cafe! Nice spot to grab a coffee and go or sit down and enjoy on the patio in the back. Food is great and staff are friendly. Patio is pet friendly. Support your local business!

We visit the Elm fairly infrequently and have always had good service, but today they went above and beyond. I ordered our drinks to take out to the front patio to drink with our dog. Our dog proceeded to knock the table over and spill my drink all over the place! The staff very kindly remade my drink and helped us clean up, and honestly made me feel less embarrassed about the situation. 10/10 customer service.

One of my favourite Cafe's in Kingston. Their coffee is excellent and I love their breakfast sandwiches (the whole 'Shebang' is my favourite). The baked goods are good but like a lot of cafes, it's hit or miss with items like the cookies at the end of the day (I have been stung with the odd stale cookie). The space is small but cozy and comfortable. Service is good (I said good not excellent for a reason - there's room for small improvement with some staff). Parking is very limited but if you are willing to walk a short distance, you can find other spots in the neighbourhood.
