I’ve ordered from here before and it was fine, but today’s experience was concerning. A poke bar is built on freshness and hygiene. That’s the reason I chose to eat here even while pregnant — because it advertises fresh, ready-to-eat ingredients. The pineapple in my bowl was clearly spoiled. It was greenish and pale instead of yellow, and the taste confirmed it had gone bad. More concerning, however, were the hygiene issues during preparation. A long strand of seaweed was repeatedly dragged across the counter before I pointed it out. The staff member also coughed while assembling my bowl. I

First visit to Steve’s Poké Bar – Ladner, and I’m already planning to come back! I tried the small bowl for the first time, and it was absolutely delicious! The ingredients were so fresh, the flavors were perfectly balanced, and everything was prepared with care. The portion size was just right, and the bowl looked as good as it tasted. The staff at the Ladner location were super friendly and helpful. As it was my first time, they patiently explained the options and helped me build a bowl I really enjoyed.
