SRP★★★We have visited Federick for more than 3 decades in its locations in Scarborough as well as Mississauga. Seeing this location in MarkHam where we were running errands and meeting family we decided to try it here as well. Quite busy on a Saturday night. Food comes out very quickly and so tables are turned around quickly as well. The service is good and the interior is clean. The tables are a bit closer to each other, which we don’t like. The Vegan Hot and Sour soup was OK. Too reddish and not enough Hot (Spicy) and more sour. The black fungus, bamboo shoots do not help. More fresher veggies w

Naimur Rahman★I dont know what’s happened with their food, we went there before, but this time the taste was different, we only could taste soya sauce! And too much of it! The fried rice was chunk of regular rice, it was not mixed enough with Manchurian flavour at all. The amount chicken in both, noodles or fried rice was countable, maybe 4-5 small pieces thats about it! The onion was stale and bad! Did not say anything at all, left and promised to not to go there again ever. Chilli chicken? Fried chicken with stale onion and soya gravy! No flavour at all.

It’s always had a very homely vibe that makes you feel welcome, and the staff are genuinely kind and polite. This time, we ordered Chicken Pakora, Chilli Paneer, and Veg Fried Rice. The flavors were on point as always—delicious and well-prepared. Portion sizes are on the smaller side, which might be something to keep in mind if you’re dining with a group.
