June Bird★★★★★Pot Empire is one of those places where you walk in thinking “just a simple hotpot,” and then suddenly your table turns into a full-on feast. Each set comes with so much food it almost feels excessive (in the best way). You get your own personal pot, plus a beautifully loaded tray of ingredients — veggies, tofu, mushrooms, meats or seafood depending on your pick — all fresh and thoughtfully arranged. And it doesn’t stop there: unlimited rice, vermicelli, or handmade noodles are included, along with a free drink and even ice cream at the end. It’s the kind of place where you keep discovering “
Joanna C★★★They just started offering all you can eat as an option and they were not ready for it. Service and food was slow. The waitresses were apologetic and explained they were understaffed. I had the Deluxe menu and found the selection of food quite limited compared to other hotpot ayce. Note that vegetable is not included, you need to pay an additional $3.99 for vegetable plate which is unheard of. Plus the menu doesn’t even say what kind of vegetable is available. One more thing I didn’t like was that they use gel as the fuel for the hot pot, so you can’t turn it off or adjust the heat level. On t
Angie★★★Solid economical hot pot. Beef was too fatty, quality is acceptable, sauce station passable. But for the price, it’s worth it. Had the blade slices - better. Short ribs is probably the best.
Fuzzy Nemo★★★★This place was pretty standard for me. Everyone gets their own pot, so you get to pick your own soup (prices varies). Then your own protein. We ordered the Fatty Short Plate Slice Combo and the Chicken Slice Combo with Yakult green tea and vermicelli. Included a pot of veggies and edemame. Ice cream for dessert. So it was plenty of food in the combo. They also had a sauce station. Food was okay. Nothing to write home about. Service was great. For a chinese restaurant, the waiters were very attentive and super nice.
