I went for a poutine at lunchtime. The fries are perfect but it stops there. The cheese is refrigerated and not fresh so it melts and really affects the flavour and texture. The gravy has a nice thick feel but it fell a bit flat on flavour. The place is an institution and I bet other food is delicious. It’s just not the spot if you’re looking for the best poutine in the city. Service is top notch and pricing is decent.

This was an excellent excellent experience. We stopped by for lunch on our way out of Mtl and had the best time grabbing brunch here. There were 3 of us including a toddler. They didnt have high chairs however we got seated at a spacious booth style seating. The staff were gems! They were so sweet and kind to us. They were sweet with my child and it made our time here comfortable. The food was so tasty, this is the best poutine ive ever eaten. Order the regular poutine and the Celine poutine. Gravy was good, but wished the fries were a bit crisper. Smoked meat paired well with the poutine and gave it more flavour.
