Stopped by D Spot Dessert Café for dessert recently, and it was a bit of a mixed experience. We ordered the milk cake, which I was really looking forward to, but it didn’t quite hit the spot. It had a noticeable rose-like flavor that overpowered the classic, traditional taste I was expecting. If you’re someone who enjoys floral notes, you might appreciate it, but for me, it took away from that rich, milky sweetness that makes milk cake so good. Not the best Dspot location. The service is always subpar, no smiles, no hello, no my name is x how can I serve you.. Just "you ready? What's your order?" We called to ask if they had the milk cake because we just had it at the lebauvic location and it was excellent (as was the service over there, I reccomend that location) this queensway location, the cake was dry and crumbly and clearly not soaked, they also added rose water to the milk which made it runny and really changed the flavor, I love falooda but thats not what I ordered... The brownie bites were good but small portion for $13.

The desserts here were significantly underwhelming. The execution was lacklustre. The crepes came out cold already, the textures of the toffee cake were a little bit weird. The service was non existent. For a dessert place the atmosphere wasnt good.
