barburu is a bit hidden, but it’s definitely worth finding. they have plenty of seating and parking, which made the visit really convenient. we got the matcha mochi flan, the matcha mango latte, and the matcha dalgona latte. the matcha mochi flan was probably my favourite. it had the perfect balance of sweetness and wasn’t overly sweet at all. the matcha mango latte was really good, but if you enjoy sweeter matcha drinks, this is definitely the one to get. i would recommend asking for less ice though, since i felt like there was a lot. the matcha dalgona latte wasn’t too bad either.

My to-go place for matcha in Mississauga! Have tried a few flavours of the matcha, and strawberry, jasmine and mango have been my favourite. The matcha is strong enough with flavour, balanced with creaminess and sweetness. There was a few times where my drink wasn’t completely filled to the top (even with normal ice), so more consistency with that could be appreciated especially given how much each drink is, but after mentioning this the servers were always gracious to fill it.

Came to Barburu for matcha and was surprised by how long the lineup was. We ordered a Matcha Latte, Mango Matcha, Matcha Mochi Flan, and Vanilla Flan. The drinks were okay—not bad, but nothing special. The desserts looked delicious, but the taste was pretty average. Overall, it wasn't memorable enough for me to come back.
