A hidden cozy hole-in-the-wall restaurant with nostalgic comforting flavours of Cantonese food. Their Cantonese chow mein was super crispy and crunchy-a hard find in Ottawa! The Yeung Chow fried rice was also tasty. Staff was super friendly and don't rush you, which is pleasant and refreshing.

This is the most heavenly Chinese joint in all the land. No hoity-toitness, no disconcerting interior design. Café Orient is homely, affordable, and devoid of any evil energies. I dragged my suitor here the other night due to a severe craving for their steamed chicken buns. We split a few more plates from their ‘All Day Dim Sum’ and had a nice portion of (Hong Kong style) french toast for desert. The food was scarfed down so quick… no time to snap a damn pic #bar? The ladies are also very kind... I like it here.
