Mark Sebestyen★★★★★Very traditional French high dining restaurant with a mention in Michelin guide. If you want high quality French cuisine, you will not be disappointed as the place has been here and serving some of these classic dishes like steak tartare since its opening 1984! However if you are interested in more modern twists to French cuisine, you might not like it that much. Service was great, however requires a reservation even though there were really two couples in the restaurant and was told that I need to make up my mind about the tasting menu as the kitchen will close soon. This was minutes after
Kathy Maalouf★★★★★The food was amazing. Duck confit was delicious. We had salmon tartar, veal filet, scallops. Warm goat cheese was excellent. Drinks & dessert were great. Only reason I am giving a 4 instead of a 5 is because my kids asked for flank steak to be cooked medium. It came out well done. But they just ate it bc they were hungry.
Rene Wong★★★★★Quiet, cozy restaurant. It has a Michelin sign posted outside but not sure whether they got a star or an honorable mention. I can't say I would appreciate Michelin-star food, but will say I would return here again. Our waiter was a pleasure to be served by. The menu suggests ordering 2-3 dishes from the menu per person, which made me think the dishes were more tapas-sized. However the waiter clarified which dishes were more consistent with mains vs appetitizer size vs somewhere in between. We went with the Goat cheese (the star of the meal), Portobello mushroom stuffed with mushrooms & scall
Jack Slaven★★★★★This was the best resturant we visited in ville de Québec. The oysters were magnificent and came with a really nice sauce - the mix of garlic and lemon worked well together, the scallops were glorious in a wonderful sauce with truffles and very fresh herbs, the cod was wonderful, the duck was perfectly crisp, and even the fries were great. We also had the dessert for two. The sugar pie and raspberry mousse were very very good. Crème brûlé was also good. The mixed drink also tasted great and we ordered a second one.
