Great place with a great view to the sea, good food and friendly servers. I’ll always remember it as the place I witnessed the Legendary Egypt World Cup win over Australia. The place is right in the heart of downtown Alexandria so we were able to head straight to the celebrations. Will def come back here again❣️

Calithea Bar is easily one of the best bars I've visited in Alexandria. The atmosphere is fantastic, with beautiful artwork and décor that genuinely capture the spirit and character of the city. The service is professional and attentive, and the owner was incredibly friendly, funny, and welcoming. We had a great conversation with him, which made the experience even more memorable. The bar offers a huge variety of drinks, and the presence of security staff helps create a comfortable and safe environment for everyone. Another pleasant surprise was the pricing. Compared to similar venues in Cairo, it's quite reasonable and offers excellent value for the experience. My only criticism is the music. It didn't match the atmosphere of the place and felt out of sync with the otherwise sophisticated ambiance. It would be great if there were more flexibility in the music selection. Went in for beer, but for me the bar was below expectations, it looked really good on the outside and pretty much the opposite inside, I thought it would be more modern rather it's a bit more old, it's also a restaurant so you'd expect it to be nicer than a bar, If I was going for food I'm not sure I'd have maintained my appetite,. however and a big however, it can be a verygood bar if you went in for a drink and some alone time, I think the vibe is just right for that. serivce is okay, some old guy. I'm also a local in case anyone wondering. I'd recommend "spitfire" over it as a bar (it's very close by) and "elite" if you wanted to eat too (it's also very close by)

Somewhat dingy place playing loud party music all the time. Staff were nice but the waiter seemed unaware of what they offered on the menu. You can pay only in cash and they didn’t pay me back 100 pounds (guess they just took liberty to it). Not a place I’ll be coming back to.
