Francois Fontanier-Edwards★★★★★A really special place in the city centre, hidden down a little alley. It was recommended to us by a local. Great friendly atmosphere, family friendly, open air, located in an inner courtyard. The menu was varied with many local specialities. The food was exceptionally good. We had a cassoulet which is one of the best I have ever eaten, perhaps the best..and I'm french! The entrecote was also amazing, top quality meat cooked to perfection. The coffee was good quality too. The staff was friendly and helpful. Strongly recommended, a great experience. Very reasonably priced too.
HJ Park (Rebecca)★★★★★a nice restaurant hidden in the alley. there were enough tables both outside and inside. The owner was friendly, we ordered la purée du pauvre with a bottle of wine from Gaillac that was recommended. the dish was quite heavy with all the mashed potato, egg and especially the fresh fois gras, but so tasty with the scent of truffle so finished it to the last bit! funny name though, aren’t truffle and foie gras considered to be expensive ingredients?
Allan Haze★★★★★Fantastic, authentic and delicious local specialties. Fun and efficient service and a very atmospheric courtyard make this s must stop place in Albi. Highlights are definitely the cassoulet and braised beef cheeks. Save room for desert. You will definitely need a reservation but they do have a few walk in tables for early birds.
Alex Millward★★★★Hidden away in a small courtyard. Food was served quickly and well cooked, portion sizes were huge, very tasty. Friendly staff. Toilets could be better.
