SJ Mack★★★★We went on a Sunday evening - very few restaurants open and no food at hotel so when we came upon La Scaleta we decided to give it a go. We didn't book, but luckily they gave us a table, others after us were less fortunate despite plenty of tables being available. Maybe is was due to staffing issues. Sadly the outside seating was not available despite it being a really warm evening. Food was flavoursome and service was efficient. The atmosphere was a bit muted and given that the building is so beautiful we felt it needed more buzz. Pizzas looked good, but we had a risotto and a veal cutl
