James Benjafield★★★★★Well what can I say that was the best meal I've had for a long long time. The food had taste, flavor and cooked exactly as I enjoy it. The young man who welcomed us to the restaurant could not have been any more helpful and charming? He went out of his way to explain the food to us and the specials on offer. Between his broken English and my broken French we managed to communicate. This made the whole experience of the evening enjoyable. We have booked to come back on Bastille day for hopefully another fine experience.
Luke HF★★★★★Came here for the first time about 3 months ago, no booking, walked in and was welcomed like an old friend. Had a truly excellent meal with absolutely impeccable service. Walked in tonight, waiter recognised us, remember our drinks and looked after us as well as last time. Another excellent meal, although sadly the steak tartare had sold out! Thank you for such a wonderful evening, the perfect end to our trip.
Stuart Storey★★★★★Lovely place, incredible food, very friendly and welcoming staff. We came late and they very kindly let us come in and order, further we don’t speak French, yet the staff were all accommodating and patient with us, a magnificent experience
john Hippisley★★★★★Been here before many years ago prior to Covid, and came back again as I happened to need a meal prior to my ferry crossing, my colleague had low blood sugar and needed a meal! A good menu and special on a blackboard, but I and my colleague, both chose Noisette d’entrecote, served medium, with peppercorn sauce, and veg on the side, fries and mustard mayo and fresh bread, and finished off with an Espresso. Service was excellent, the waitress and the head server both spoke excellent English and I was very pleased!
