This was my husband’s and mine first visit to this restaurant and we were blown away by the quality of the food. We ordered the foie gras and tuna tataki for starters and seafood platter as our main. I must say that the seafood platter is one of the freshest we’ve had in France. The service was warm and friendly and, the atmosphere was inviting. We enjoyed it so much that we immediately made a reservation for the next day ;) I only have two things to mention for the restaurant to improve. 1)The langoustine should be cleaned as they were full of sand and mud 2)Please make better desserts as the

Overall, the restaurant has a comfortable and pleasant environment, and the staff were polite and friendly, which made our dining experience enjoyable. We ordered a small seafood platter. While most of the seafood was quite good, the quality and portion size could be improved.

We were 6 people. Out of which 5 ordered sea food plate - it took 1 h 30 minutes to get our plates!?! We were all super frustrated and hungry. For 5 people eating sea food - not enough of bread and butter. The 6th person - seems that the bread was not planned at all. They have forgotten our wine order - after a long waiting time, we needed to ask for wine again and repeat the order. The food was good and the place nice but service totally crap. At the end we got the menu to concider the dessert - again no one came for a while. Overall experience - disappointing.

We had the pleasure of having lunch at L’iode at Dunkirk today. We visited the 1940 Dunkirk war museum first then walked from there along part of the heritage trial. Once on the beach we could see the location of the massive evacuation that took place there in May of that year. Lunch was very nice. The Oysters from Normandy we fresh and tasted like the ocean, just as they should be, the salmon and wasabi was delicious, we shared the beef Capacio along with sardines and salad. The whole treat was washed down with a dry Alsace Riesling. The prices were very reasonable. We spend around 130 euro
