Spotted this gorgeous terrace in a beautiful square and so why not try it - we love to try new spots! Being November let's opt for a warm meal inside. Beautifully decorated and tastefully simple, this restaurant has potential since the service was tremendous, prices quite reasonable and portions abundant! I say potential because we were disappointed and rated it just ok.. The formule du jour with entrée, plat dessert is unbeatable at 22€. When seated we were pleased to be offered an amuse bouche of cold butternut soup, delicious! The entrée was a lovely lentil, sausage salad with a sort of mus

I was tbh expecting breakfast since the name is café. That is my bad not kowning the café culture here. I reserved for this one as the ratings are really high. But I would say it's not as good as my other food experience in Lyon. The snail appetizer was very good, the salmon rossitto was a bit too salty. The food i would maximally give 4 stars.

We had a wonderful meal here on a rainy afternoon. I started with a beautiful asparagus salad and had flank steak with frites and my wife had the plate de jour of whitefish with rice and seasonal vegetables. Both were outstanding. The service was very friendly and efficient in spite of it being a VERY busy day. I highly recommend this place if you’re near Place des Carmelites on the Pents.

Very clean. We were sitting on the terrace, and it was in the shades, very comfortable and fresh. The restroom is very clean (for those who follow me, you know that a clean bathroom indicates a clean kitchen). The menu is a bit limited, but i chose a salad, and it was delicious. The dessert was a little disappointing to me, but I think for locals, it's the right taste. In my opinion, the texture and consistency need a little improvement. Follow me for more hidden gems around the world.
