I had a pizza whilst my dining companion (doesn’t that sound grand and la de dar ) chose a lasagna which we both thoroughly enjoyed. Atmosphere is lovely and the overall experience was faultless. We will certainly return. Deserts were delicious!

The regular menu was not available; I was ready to be disappointed. But the one person working — the owner? — was a wonderful host, and it turned out that we had a lovely evening. He spoke fluent English, but was patient and encouraging with my clumsy attempts to parler Francais. When I did not know a word, he taught it to me.
