We were looking for a place to have lunch and stumbled upon this place. The lunch menu was probably one of the meals I had in Rennes. Simple and good. Price was right and we sat outside. Service was impeccable and really kind to non-French speakers. We also had cafe gourmand after the meal and it was €2 and what we got for it was beyond expectation. Well done! We went back for dinner but I don’t think they serve dinner. Try this place out.

I stopped at the counter for a quick coffee and paid €4.60 for a double espresso. At that price, even being right next to the train station, it's frankly excessive. I understand that prices might be a bit higher in this type of location, but without table service, it's hard to justify such a price. It really feels like the prices are geared towards customers just passing through. It's a shame, because the location is convenient, but these kinds of prices don't make you want to come back. Remember to check the prices before ordering.

Having gone there for Sunday brunch, I can say it was a great little neighborhood bistro! The dishes and desserts are simple but satisfying; you're not overwhelmed by too many choices, but there's still something for everyone. If I had to find a fault, it would be that some dishes, especially the sweets, ran out a little too quickly. Otherwise, honestly, for €28 and all-you-can-eat, it's worth every penny. Bonus points for getting to try croziflette for brunch for the first time in my life! 🤣 I recommend it!
