We are staying in the area for 2 months for our work and visited this café twice in two days because we initially enjoyed the atmosphere. Unfortunately, both experiences left us disappointed because of unexpected extra charges that were never clearly explained. On the first visit, I ordered a simple cappuccino, but instead received a very large specialty-style drink with whipped cream and extras that I hadn’t asked for. I assumed it was simply a generous gesture, but then discovered I had been charged €7.50 for it. The next day, on my birthday, we returned and tried again. My partner ordered

We arrived for late lunch today and had the most delicious Croque Monsieur and a glass of wine. The lady who owns the restaurant was so welcoming and pleasant and was very happy to chat to us with our limited French. She also speaks very good English. It’s a definite place to visit. We sat outside under the awning. We usually stay along the port when having lunch but will come back again to this delightful spot. I see they also serve a plat du jour and various salads etc. Reasonable prices. Highly recommend.

This place is a gem! Probably best cafe I have been in france. All food and pastries are fresh and delicious. Owner and staff are the nicest. Free parking across the street. I definitely recommend it
