I’m falling head over heels for this lovely restaurant. Tucked away in a nice quiet part of the street with little to no cars driving by, Maezaly is a local gem serving some of the best food at affordable prices. I have been back here consecutively for 2 straight days, lunch and dinner. For dinner, I went for the daily menu which consists of a starter, mains and dessert. They were all beautifully prepared and all the ingredients came together perfectly. Lunch was just as exquisite, I had a simple salad as a start, 2 mains and a coffee to complete the meal. Marvellous meal and experience. Th

The food was very tasty especially starters and desserts are spectacular. The only downside was that we couldn't choose the right wine. 🙃

A very small restaurant with 12 tables and 24 chairs, the place is very romantic. There are a few selections for entree and main, and every dish is built with affection with fantastic ingredients. The terrine is warm and soft with full of flavour. The fish soup is bountiful and tasty. The cod was fat with texture of lobster, the monkfish was well cooked with generous portion of bean and seasonal vegetable. Osso bucco was soft and gentle, while slow cooked veal was perfectly seasoned. The wine selection was fresh and flagrant. I dined with kids, and they were comfortable and happy.

The best meal, I had in France! I had the set menu or menu decouverter and it was sensational value at €41. The amuse bouche was a little slice of savoury cake, lightly spiced and baked with cheddar, olives and tomato. I’m sure the owners will forgive me getting one or two ingredients wrong because I will make up for it with my enthusiasm. The starter was a pavé of foie gras in a light-as-air flan, surrounded by a velvety soft butternut veloute. There was a delicately spiced crumb on top, reminiscent of speculoos or biscoff that provided a textural counterpoint to all the smooth richness. Th
