We didn’t make a reservation and we were apparently lucky to have a table. The food: very interesting cooked beef with horseradish sauce , my wife had beautiful sausages with green cabbage. The housewines ( no wine menu) are very good for their price . After all the expensive haute cuisine restaurants in Frankfurt, this was a really authentic experience. And the service… I like to explore Michelin starred restaurants, but here it’s better and authentic. Who said German people are cold. Thank you Theaterklause. If we are back in Frankfurt, we will come back.

The food here is great. Really fresh ingredients. The place was almost completely reserved (always a good sign) and it seemed like the customers were regulars. Wonderful atmosphere. Service was very good. Wish I could have tried several of the daily specials!!

I recommend you highly to go a eat here , the food is utterly amazing. If you are close to Frankfurt and are willing to eat good food you should go and try this place out its just 20 min from the main highway going through Frankfurt. You can order the typical german food here and its pricing is just amazing. As a tourist its also nice to see the city its amazing. Don't leave Germany without having seen and eaten in the Theaterklause Aschaffenburg.
