When going into another country I always try to find good cozy traditional food as something to try. This place ticked all the boxes and made me really happy to try Bavarian food. Great food and atmosphere, but disappointing service My sister and brother-in-law were excited to take us to Paulaner Botschaft in Bochum, as they’ve enjoyed it many times. This was our first visit, and we came from Canada looking forward to a great Bavarian experience. The positives: The food was amazing! I had the chicken schnitzel with mushroom sauce, spaetzle, and sauerkraut — absolutely delicious. The red wine was great as well. The atmosphere was warm, authentically German/Bavarian, and we could easily hear each other talk, which was a bonus. Our younger waitress, Tamta, was friendly,
