We visited L’Osteria in Darmstadt, and the portion size of the pizza was really big, which was nice. However, I felt that the amount of toppings could have been more. The restaurant follows an Italian style, and while the quality was good, the taste wasn’t quite what I expected. It wasn’t bad at all—just not my style. The place was really crowded, and it seemed like there weren’t enough service staff to handle the number of guests efficiently. Despite that, the overall experience was okay. Although the food was good, I don’t think I would go there again. However, for those who enjoy this sty

The pizza was genuinely awful. It was huge, but that was the only good thing about it. There were barely any toppings, and they were spread so unevenly that one slice had almost all the mushrooms while the rest had nearly none. Most pizzas don’t even come with mozzarella but with a generic cheap cheese, and when I asked, they confirmed it was Edamer. The amount of cheese was extremely small, and because the pizza was overbaked, the little cheese that was there became crunchy. The salami also tasted like the cheapest, lowest-quality salami you could buy at Aldi (even looks like it). Overall, it

Very accommodating, we spontaneously needed an additional table and they made it happen. Promised us a free drink for a 5-Star review, which is sketchy AF. Makes me wonder how many 5 star review here are bought. Place is generally all right, but my pizza spent half it's time on the table since they forgot the paper sheet.

Food is nice, the pizzas are huge and enough for two. Service was not attentive and brought the main courses already while we still had half of our appetizers in front of us. The atmosphere is super noisy, background music, kitchen noise and collective chatter in an industrial styled hall make it almost impossible to have a conversation when sitting opposite each other. Prices are relatively high, but you can take the leftovers with you without extra charge. Would come here for food again, but not for a get-together.
