My favorite Greek dinner experience in Hamburg. Greek cuisine prepared with love and good products. Classic dishes with a modern touch. Very nice place to have a nice tapas evening. Great wines. Excellent service. And all this for a really fair price. This is clearly a highlight and I will come back. Thank you for the lovely evening.

The plates came all together, accompanied by a bottle of Axia! We started with tarama and pitas, tasty, though I found the dip a bit heavy. We had Greek dumplings filled with shrimps and pork belly, where the pork sincerely overpowered the shrimps, but the anis sauce was incredible. The mini moussaka was classic, but delicious, very “béchamelly.” The souvlaki were tender but a bit dry. Lovely restaurant with a very inviting courtyard together with some very delicious options + tapas choices - hint: order the grilled aubergine! A little hidden gem in Eimsbüttel, away from the madness of Osterstrasse but still very accessible via public transport. Also dog friendly incase you need to bring your 4 legged friend. One of the best restaurants in the neighbourhood, go on and give it a try :)

Food is delicious. But, not usual greek food and usual and loud atmosphere. This was the most quiet greek restaurant I‘ve ever been. Some smooth jazz playing. You feel uncomfortable if you speak a bit louder. Waitress doesn’t speak Greek. All fine, but the name of the restaurant doesn‘t correspond to the concept. Parea. Parea is happy, loud and cheerful company of people who eat, laugh and every now and then say:“Στην Υγειά Μας“! Don‘t expect this here. We expected it, so 3 stars.
