We visited this bar on a Saturday evening in the Barfußgäßchen, a street full of very similar spots competing in the same segment. Naturally, expectations were not particularly high going in, especially knowing how crowded it gets. As expected, it started busy and kept filling up more and more throughout the evening. Despite that, the experience turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. The service stood out immediately. The place really cozy and warm.. the waitress was also really nice.. however, the food was normal and missed the flavour.. the risotto was undercooked and crunchy . On the other side, the drinks and cocktails were amazing!! TBH, I looked to the place way as a bar more than a restaurant !

Outstanding spaghetti scampi e limone and spaghetti arrabiata -both perfectly al dente and deliciously flavoured. My scampi spaghetti had sugar snap peas and a generous serve of scampi, with just the right amount of lemon. Unfortunately didn’t take photos before we polished off the plates. The plum cheesecake was sensational - crusty pastry with whole plums over just the perfect amount of cheesecake filling to balance the texture and flavours. Friendly and prompt service. Highly recommend.
