9.8/10 The location is amazing. Very nice view. And somehow there was a nice breeze (I suspect, bcse it is located in the narrow gap between buildings), although the day is very hot. We got eistee and a sandwich each. Estee was also very good: right ratio of sweet and sour. Appropriately cold. Good volume. The sandwiches we nice and unusual (bread slices a little too thick to my taste, but my husband liked it). They use some fancy greens in the salad (like mangold and mizuna). They apparently grow it partially themselves! Club sandwich was great. I got a Brie-melt sandwich, which was alrig

A truly special café in Marburg! Die Pause has such a warm, authentic atmosphere – the perfect place to take a real break from the day.Their coffee was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had: rich, aromatic, and made with genuine care. ☕️ 🧁 The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. Sitting on the stairs, listening to the autumn birds, was pure peace.🌿🍂🍁 Inside, everything is clean, cozy, and tastefully designed. A hidden gem in Marburg – absolutely worth a visit!🤍

If you want a cosy place to have some me-time or a good time with a friend or two..but not more (the place is quite small and is often packed so make sure of reservations if you are more than 3 people) . The coffe is good quality and the menu is simple but with good variations and choices. They thought of vegans too which is a huge plus. The service is also great.

I’m so glad to have discovered this gem on my very first trip to Europe. My coffee and vegan fried eggs were delicious. I hope every restaurant in Europe is this awesome!
