A restaurant with a history of more than 100 years. I think it’s one of the must-visit places when coming to the Hackesche Höfe in Berlin. After strolling through the back courtyards, it’s the perfect spot to sit down for a meal in a classy setting. Definitely a highlight during my visits to Berlin.

I chose the Ragout of venison from Brandenburg, and it was truly outstanding—one of the best regional dishes I've had. • The venison ragout was incredibly rich, tender, and deeply flavorful. I thought I have to go back to the US to get a decent steak, butt not only was the steak delicious and just the right doneness, but the pepper sauce was also home made and extremely good. My family really enjoyed their dish as well, the waiters we're very friendly and helpful and the entire evening was a delight. Make a stop in this historic place if you can. It's not the cheapest, but I think it's worth it.
