We were just out for a relaxed Sunday evening stroll, not looking for anything major — just a decent bite before calling it a day. From the bridge, we spotted this cozy little place right by the water and were immediately drawn in by the menu, especially the solid vegetarian options. That alone felt like a good sign — and it was. My partner went for the celery schnitzel, and it turned out to be a total win: flavorful, well-balanced, and — most importantly — not one of those lazy, thrown-together “token veggie” dishes. The food was good at this restaurant, located in one of my favourite areas of Berlin. The only downside to my experience was the very bright interior lighting, which slightly took away from the overall atmosphere. There’s plenty of room for improvement, particularly by reimagining the décor while preserving its cosy vibe.
