What you need to know about this place is that it’s first and foremost a bar, and a hotel second. So there is no reception really, it’s all in the bar. Which is fine during the day but at night when the bar is PACKED, and u are trying to check in or have an issue you essentially are waiting with ppl waiting to order a drink. That being said, the staff are kind. The bar is great. And the location is good. Rooms are small and basic and i found the interior stuffy and stale. And the staircase… well smells like a bar because it is one. I wouldnt stay here again.

A must stay. Absolutely fabulous. Lovely decor, fittings with real atmosphere. Downstairs is a high end bar and restuarant. Central location in Alt town. Staff and I mean everyone particularly the management a the definition of professional. Send your six star staff here to learn true hospitality. Thank you for a great experiance

Fantastic staff, restaurant and bar were amazing. Will definitely stay here again. Just be prepared to climb stairs with your luggage. Extremely walkable to the entire Marienplatz district.

Very disappointing experience. I booked this hotel about a month in advance, but they cancelled our reservation at the last minute. This caused unnecessary stress and forced me to look for last-minute alternatives at higher prices. I expected much better reliability from a hotel accepting confirmed bookings.
