Altstadt, located in a historical building as the name suggests. I'm sure there's more history to this place. Next to the cathedral, we entered this nice and clean restaurant based on an internet recommendation. However, we weren't highly impressed by this eatery. I tried the highly appreciated dish, a pork shoulder, which was okay, and the dish made sure I wouldn't be hungry for the next 5 hours. However, my wife's beef wasn't that satisfactory. Had a booking and thankfully because it seems to be a popular place. The Barman was very friendly and I let him make the food choice for me. As you can see from the pics it did not disappoint in taste or quantity. Sitting at the bar also means I got to look at the kitchen when they prep which is a favourite. Delicious food, friendly and hospitable staff and my god was I full after that.

The pork shoulder is soft with crispy skin. Pork taste feels juicy. Grilled sausages are also fine. Nice indoor environment. Waitress was polite and friendly.
