Zanotto was one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. Chris, the owner and chef, is warm and welcoming. The restaurant has a cozy, charming atmosphere, with fresh herbs and vegetables incorporated into the decor. Chris makes all the pasta from scratch, and the flavors are light, fresh, and beautifully balanced.

Everything that people wrote about this establishment is true. A wonderfull place, amazing fresh pasta, beautiful decoration with dozens of basil plants surrounding you and probably the best desert I have had in my life. Make sure you book in advance, it was.completley full on a sunday night.

The owner is from Vicenza in northern Italy and he knows a few things about good ingredients and excellent wines. Besides being very friendly, he obviously takes his job very seriously. He has many thoughts about how to combine some very simple dishes adding the details that make them excellent, without trying to be pretentious, in a genuine way. He is true to the tradition, but not without his personal touch. I especially enjoyed the small intimate atmosphere and the cooking done at the table, together with the home made furniture (obtained by recycling wine cases).
