If you want a stunning photo for your story, come here. If you actually want to eat, keep walking. The "Instagram Worthy" Stuff (The Good) • The Vibe: I’ll give credit where it’s due—the ambience is top-tier. Probably the best setting in Bengaluru. • The Tunes: The band started an hour late (standard IST, I guess?), but they were genuinely good once they plugged in. The "Why Are We Paying for This?" Stuff (The Bad) • The "Fine" Dining: We signed up for a 5-course Valentine's luxury meal. What we got was cold food that looked pretty but tasted like regret. • The Highlight: The best part of the chef's curated menu was... the mocktail. When the drink is better than the main course at a JW Marriott property, you know you’re in trouble. • Decoration > Taste: Putting a flower on a cold plate doesn't make it fine dining. The "Do Your Job" Stuff (The Ugly) • The Marathon: We arrived at 8 PM. We left at 11:45 PM—not because we were having fun, but because we were trapped in a service void. •

Went at Spice Terrace for dinner. Ambience wise there is nothing spectacular, doesn’t match the 5 star name in terms of impressions. Food was average too, 5 star prices so expensive, though service was excellent. Even the washrooms are so tiny for a 5 star property like Marriot. I have been going to Leela and it has set a benchmark, this one is nowhere near.

I went to this restaurant today. We had a soup, veg and non veg starter, and various types of rotis with veg and non veg gravy. Food taste was good and nice, though the starters was a bit cold. After we told the people about this, the chef came later and apologised. The rest of the food was good. There was a variety of rotis we could get. Overall, good but can be improved.

The Spice terrace is really an awesome place. 🤩 Ambience is classy and soothing.😌 The place will surely give you the good vibes and the view.😉😎 This is basically a poolside restaurant. If you get a chance please book/take the table near to the pool..... that will be amazing 😁😁 Talking about food taste is average not too good I can say(vegetarian). 🙁 Food is very much pricey as it's an luxury place but as per the taste and quality it's unfair. 💸💸 Food: ⭐⭐⭐ Service was good and staff was attentive: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ambience: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐++

I recently visited this poolside restaurant with my family for dinner. The atmosphere and ambience were pleasant and well-curated, offering a comfortable dining environment. However, compared to similar restaurants in the city, we felt the service could have been more attentive. For a dinner for three, we spent a little over ₹10,000, but unfortunately, the food did not meet expectations. My son was disappointed that raita was not served with the biryani, despite the staff assuring us it would be provided. Additionally, the mutton curry lacked freshness and flavor, with little to no distinct taste of the meat. Overall, while the ambience is appealing—as one would expect from a property under JW Marriott—the dining experience fell short. The quality of food and service does not justify the price point, making it difficult to recommend based solely on ambience.

Very good place for a romantic dinner. The service is slow but that's quite expected. The food is not the best thing here but the ambience by the pool side is definitely worth a visit. The veg kebab platter was fantastic, a little on the spicier side and I loved it. The raw banana kofta was creamy and good too. The butter rotis were soaked in butter and I didn't like it.

We had a very bad experience at Spice Terrace. Food was poor quality for the price they charged, some dishes were very bland and others extremely oily. We ordered what was recommended by the staff. I pre orderded a cake for my friend's birthday and requested after the main course that the cake be brought out once I came back from the washroom. By the time I came back to the table the cake was already there and it ruined the experience. Extremely poor service from the staff, we were even made to rush to order at 8pm in the evening. Strongly recommend not going here, especially for special occasions.
