What people say

they serve best samosa in that area and chole bhature is also famous. one think I don't like about is that they don't have parking area otherwise the food is awesome. most of the time this place is crowded so you have to wait .
Tried their Paratha today. Amazing taste, very good packaging. This place never disappoints on taste, packaging & quality. Apart from Chole Samosa one has to try their other menu items as well. Sandwiches, Paratha everything I order from this place exceeds expectations.
We ordered samosa and gajar ka halwa from Gurukrupa, Sion and it was absolutely the best! The samosas were crispy with perfect filling, and the gajar ka halwa was rich, fresh, and full of flavor. A classic place that never disappoints. Highly recommended!

Gurukripa is a great spot in Sion offering a wide variety of snacks and sweets at affordable prices (around ₹200–₹300 per person). While everything is decent, their samosa truly stands out crispy, flavorful, and absolutely worth trying. It’s no surprise that Gurukripa is well-known for its samosas, which are widely supplied to cinemas and theatres across the city. Definitely recommended for a quick and tasty bite!

I would have easily given 5 stars, but recently the overall taste seems to have gone slightly down compared to what it used to be. Still, the samosa with chutney and chole remains their signature and is absolutely worth trying — crisp, flavourful, and perfectly balanced. The gulab jamun is also soft, rich, and makes a great finish to the meal. They have a wide variety of chaats, North Indian snacks, sweets, and quick bites — most items are decent in quality and value for money. Service is fast, and this place continues to be a popular local landmark with a loyal fan following over the years. Only minor downsides are the slightly toned-down spice and taste recently, limited seating comfort, and parking challenges due to the busy area. Overall, still one of the must-try classic spots in Mumbai for samosa-chole lovers — just wish they bring back their old flavour punch!

This place sets the gold standard for samosas. They’ve held that position for years for a reason, and the flavour has stayed reassuringly consistent. That kind of longevity doesn’t happen by accident. They’re immensely popular, and understandably so. I only recently found out they also have a catering division, which feels like a natural extension of what they already do so well. Wishing them the best on that front—though if the food is anything to go by, they’ll do just fine.

I’m a pure non-vegetarian, yet this vegetarian restaurant is my absolute favorite—life truly is full of paradoxes! I’ve been coming here for the last 20 years and still counting. Needless to say, the best dishes are tikki-chole, samosa-chole, lassi, and the mini cheese samosas. They also offer good low-sugar sweet options for people on a diet. I still remember waiting an hour for an AC seat with friends during our college days—and we would happily wait just for the food. For those who complain about the wait, good things take time. Every visit here feels purely nostalgic.
