Alena Pelotte★★★★★First of all the interior is beautiful and so is the atmosphere. Staff is friendly, quick and attentive and does a great job so I didn't mind the servicecharge. For the food: these curries are soooo creamy and delicious! The Appam and Paratha is fresh and fluffy. All in all 10/10. Had the tiramisu cake for dessert and while it wasn't bad I would say it contains too much of the liquor and was slightly frozen. So definitely nothing for kids. If the ratio and temperature could be adjusted it would be another hit on the menu. I'll make sure to come back and try more of these beautiful curries for sure.
Manish Gayan★★★★★After a series of misses, I finally decided to visit this place for a quick lunch before my flight. The restaurant is spread over two floors and is clean and spacious. I particularly liked the minimalist approach to keeping the place. Moving on to the food, Kerala Cuisine is one of my favorites, and they didn’t disappoint. I highly recommend the following dishes: 1. Pepper Mutton Fry 2. Malabar Fish Curry 3. Toffee Date Pudding The dessert was especially dreamy and left me craving more, but I didn’t want to catch my flight with a heavy stomach.
Abhishek Deep★I visited this place after hearing a lot of positive buzz, but unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. I ordered pepper chicken curry, Malabar paratha, and appam. The pepper chicken curry was particularly bad—it tasted like either the gravy or the chicken was stale. Soon after, I ended up with a severe stomach infection, which made the whole experience even worse. The service didn’t help either. It was quite poor, and the staff didn’t even have basic drinking water available, which is surprising for any restaurant. Overall, this visit was a complete letdown. I’d strongly suggest being cautious while trying food here—maybe even carry some Pudin Hara just in case.
Vidushi Kaushik★★Unfortunately, the coffee did not meet expectations. The flavor was quite underwhelming and lacked the quality one would expect at this price point. Considering the cost, the overall experience did not feel like good value for money. While the service and ambiance may appeal to some customers, there is definitely room for improvement in the quality of the coffee itself.
Rishik Suri★Service was lovely, but unfortunately that is the only good thing about the place -- the food is unimaginative which I thought was its worst sin until the next day my entire friend group that went there fell sick. All that for an incredibly mid meal that was very heavy on the wallet compared with other coastal place in town. Go to Rumi's Rasoee if you'd like authentic Malayalee food that tastes fresh and is affordable.
Akriti yadav★★★★★I really loved this cafe ! It's minimal and comfy . The ambience gives a soothing vibe to relax and chill. Their south indian food is too good , they have limited items in their menu but they're worth trying! The service is also good overall a nice place to visit. It's located in front of HKV parking.
Jhimli Dhar★★★★★Authentic Kerala cuisine, beautiful ambience…service was great, Rahul took special care of us, such a soft spoken guy…. Food was downright fab…we had ordered a chicken stew and kerala fish curry with egg white Appam and Malabar paratha, in addition we had this orange and basil cooler, loved it….. place to go to while in Hauz khas
Kim Shim★★The cafe's location is undeniably fantastic, yet its atmosphere seems a bit unclear – Iam not sure if it aims for a laid-back, boho, or overly cool vibe or pretentious. The servers appear somewhat disoriented. While the location is excellent, the overall warmth, welcome, and food quality, I am really not sure what and why the hype was about.
