The JW Marriott offers a beautiful setting, but the meal was a bit of a mixed experience. We started with the tandoori grilled meats which were simple, refined, and delicious. Unfortunately, the mains didn't live up to that start. While the breads were good, every main dish we ordered was in a deep layer of oil/ ghee. It was so rich that it completely overshadowed the individual spices and flavors of the ingredients, making the dishes taste almost identical. We felt uncomfortably bloated just a few bites in and had to leave quite some unfinished. Desserts were offered as a gesture which we appreciated, yet after a rich meal were challenging to eat. Service was friendly and attentive, though it felt a little rushed at times with the staff eager to clear the table. For a luxury hotel at this price point, I was also surprised that cutlery wasn’t changed between courses. It’s a lovely space, but unfortunately a pretty forgettable culinary experience. From the moment we entered, the ambience felt warm, elegant, and perfect for a professional yet relaxed meeting setup. The staff was extremely courteous, attentive, and ensured everything was handled smoothly throughout the evening. The food quality was outstanding. The kebabs were perfectly cooked, flavourful, and served beautifully. The Dal Qureshi and biryani were exceptional and easily among the best dishes we tried that evening. Saffron , located at the J W Marriot , Juhu , Mumbai. Is a lovely fine dining restaurant, with some great food and excellent service . We tried the masala chaas , passion fruit drink . For starters we tried the Nimbu jinga, and the chicken tikka . Both were great in taste . In the main course we had the keema paratha , khamiri roti and missi roti along with their quintessential butter chicken. Which is sooper hit and a must try ! Over all the place is great for a quiet Meal and some India classical music playing in the background. They have a live kitchen that you can see through , where their chef’s are preparing your meal fresh !
