Sanka Illangakoon★★★★We visited Zaffran for lunch today and it was great. This is located in Connaught place and on the 2nd floor of Hotel Palace Heights. The place was not busy when we visited which helped in receiving our order fast. I went for the mutton biriyani while my wife went for the Yaseen vegetable biriyani with jeera aloo. The food was tasty and well presented. The pricing was average for the area and the service was great. A good option for a nice meal.
Naman Arora★★★★★We ended up here completely by chance after the restaurant next door refused us entry despite a confirmed online reservation for my father’s birthday. Arriving at the last minute, we were understandably disappointed, but the team here immediately made us feel welcome and comfortable. The food was excellent, honestly better than what we’ve experienced at the neighboring restaurant where we’ve dined many times before. Every dish was well prepared and enjoyable. What truly stood out, however, was the service. The staff were attentive, professional, and genuinely eager to help. It is rare to find waiters who are not only efficient at their job but also make guests feel valued throughout the meal. What started as a frustrating evening turned into a wonderful birthday celebration. Thank you to the entire team for your hospitality. We will definitely be returning.
S K★Definately not a place for halal eaters. Last week had a very unpleasant experience; on call they audaciously lied that we serve halal food. We went to the restaurant at the reception there was a sardard man sitting whom I asked to show halal certificate to which he refused and stood up from his seat and went inside without letting me completing my sentence. We waited outside but no one came to attend or to ask the issue. Also there was a small bar counter inside. I wonder how they shamelessly playing with people's sentiments and how ignorants are going to eat at such a ridiculous place.

GAGAN wadhwa★★Visited zaffran and found the experience quite average. The starters were decent but nothing exceptional. The main course portions were smaller than expected for the prices charged. Overall, the restaurant feels a bit overpriced compared to other dining options in CP offering similar or better food quality and quantity. While the ambience is good, the overall value for money could definitely be improved.
Samraat Dhingra★★★★I went to Zaffran with family, and it turned out to be a great choice for North Indian food in a fine-dining setup. The ambience has a slightly old-school charm with a comfortable seating arrangement. We ordered kebabs, biryani, and curries, and everything was rich and flavorful. The kebabs were especially well-cooked and juicy. Service was polite and fairly quick. Drinks are available, though the focus is more on food. It’s a reliable place if you want classic Mughlai flavors in a slightly upscale environment without going overboard on pricing. Highlights: Mughlai fine dining, rooftop vibe, rich flavors
