Visited “By The Way” after exactly a year, and this visit was extremely disappointing. The food was just okay, but many drink options listed on the menu were unavailable, which was frustrating. We ordered Hakka noodles, and the taste was very bland. Even after requesting modifications, it still didn’t improve. The biggest issue, however, was the manager’s behavior — completely unprofessional and lacking basic customer service skills. After the billing was done, we had to wait around 20–25 minutes just to get a proper response regarding our concerns. To make things worse, the manager falsely claimed that we were regular customers, which was simply not true. After a heated argument, they finally agreed to deduct the noodles from the bill, but the situation should never have escalated this far. We also asked to connect with the GM, but the manager refused and denied the request, despite us having prior contact. Overall, very poor experience due to bad management and service. Definite

The café felt quite overcrowded, and the space itself is rather narrow, making it less comfortable to relax and enjoy the ambiance. The food and beverages leaned heavily towards sweetness, even the starters, with an overpowering use of masala that may not suit everyone’s palate. I recommend you to try their pizzas which were really tasty. Additionally, the lack of healthier options on the menu was a drawback. The café also does not offer fresh fruit juices, relying instead on syrup-based drinks, which further limits the overall appeal. With some improvements in space management and a more balanced menu, this place could offer a much better experience.

Dropped by at this relatively bougie restaurant right on Husain Sagar to drink some rum and Thums Up. It was a bit expensive but a fun experience nonetheless with my friends. There were also fewer mosquitoes than the rest of the city, which is quite commendable for Hyderabad.

We visited on a Monday.. so quite empty at 6pm.. got tables easily. I had booked a table through an app. To claim 10 percent discount, but the restaurant refused to oblige as they claimed the menu is on happy hours.. but there was no big difference in rates.. felt cheated by the end of day.. may not visit again
